On a breezy, gray Sunday morning, your MSRP Leadership (Marty, Tara, Chris, and Beth) headed to Hershey to check out Motorbike Day at the AACA Museum. The event celebrated all things vintage on two wheels—dirt bikes, roadsters, competition cycles, scooters, mopeds, and minibikes—with a cycle-themed flea market, bike show, and a scenic group ride through the Pennsylvania countryside. The day also coincided with the museum’s Husqvarna Motorcycle Exhibit, adding a little extra flair for off-road enthusiasts.
Though the weather was a bit brisk (and a few of us may have underestimated the wind chill), the chill didn’t dampen our enthusiasm. We were treated to a laid-back gathering of bike lovers, classic rides, and some great conversations.
One standout moment was chatting with the organizers of the local Distinguished Gentleman's Ride, set for Sunday, May 18th. This global event brings together riders on classic and vintage-style motorcycles dressed in their dapper best—all to raise awareness and funds for men’s mental health and prostate cancer research. The Harrisburg ride is the closest one to us and might be a perfect excuse to break out your tweed and polish up the café racer.
We also fell in love with a charming little Honda Passport scooter that’s basically a time capsule. It was won in a raffle over 40 years ago by the current owner’s aunt—and has just 1.4 miles on the odometer. It’s been lovingly preserved and only recently made its public debut…as in it debuted YESTERDAY!
While the turnout was smaller than expected, the quality of the conversations and the passion of the attendees more than made up for it. We picked up a few ideas, made a couple of new connections, and—of course—took plenty of bike pics.
Once we’d had our fill of flea market finds and chrome appreciation, we swung by the iconic Hershey Kissmobile and debated a visit to Chocolate World. That plan was quickly derailed when we saw a veritable Easter Parade of People headed that way. Turns out the Reester Bunny was making a special appearance, and we decided we weren’t quite ready for that level of crowd commitment. Instead, we wrapped up our Hershey adventure with a YUM-worthy lunch at Red Robin before embarking on the trip back to State College.

Really appreciate the pictures. Thank you for taking the time to do that.
